My name is Elisabeth Morice. I am a French national who has been living in the UK for half my life, fluent in French, English and German, with some understanding of Spanish.
I came to the UK as part of the language and business masters degree I was completing at the Université de Nantes spending a semester at Cardiff University. This sowed the seeds of living abroad and I moved to the UK in 1994 after finishing my studies.
I think I can safely say I have worked from the ground up, starting as waitress, office junior, data entry analyst and even Comet IT support as part of a shared services company. This shared services company was my first real break into IT and gave me the platform to branch into a 15 year career working for various companies finally ending up at WD-40 Company as an Applications Analyst.
This has allowed me to develop a broad range of skills such as project management, requirements analysis, business process analysis, document management, IT generalist and organisational skills. I took a break from full time employment to raise my children while working freelance. The children are now slightly older, which allows me time to refocus my energy and skills back into the workplace. Late 2016 I decided to launch myself as a Virtual Assistant, giving me the chance to work with some great clients and use my skills and languages to their business benefit.
But enough about me, let’s see what I can help you with here! 🙂
